Let go

 Playing with my Thoughts

Let go

Quit looking at the past and imagining ways you could have avoided your wrongs, look more into the future with the intentions of erasing the bad past and creating a better story.

With every acknowledged wrong, a lesson is learnt.

People walk around daily, broken, unstable, unsatisfied, clashing thoughts, suicidal, death wishes… they can’t get enough of their wrongs, they can’t stop blaming themselves, they can’t help with the flashes, the night mares and undying quest to go back in time.

Change is not hard, but the resistant to change is, moving on sometimes seems impossible but it’s not , no matter the gravity of whatever the past holds, holding  onto it changes nothing, it only brings clouds, the past cannot be undone, everything happens for a reason.

• We can’t go back to change the beginning but we can start now to make a new beginning and havegood end.

Forging ahead is a very good but it might seem heavy, hard, impossible, but it’s not, don’t let your past define you, it shouldn’t pick a part for you. How long do you intend to mourn? How long do you intend to be locked in the dark? How long do you want to keep on being a shadow of yourself? Ihurts, there will be flashes, those undying thoughts, unanswered questions, those nightmares that make you wake up with your pillow soaked  with tears, they will stop but only when you’re ready to let them go, only when you are ready to move on, only when you are ready to accept the truth and embrace the now, the future.

• Restart, Reset, Re focus as many times as you need to.

Tips to move on

• Pray to bed
• Wake up with an attitude, choose to feel different.
• Look at the mirror, tell yourself “I got this, pain can’t define meI am taking a new step, am rewriting my story.
• Draft your aim and ways you can archive them: work towards them, seize new opportunities.
• Step out, do those things that makes you happy, try new things, meet people, smile, be enthusiastic.
• Motivate yourself as regular as possible, you can paste notes around you for reminders at visible places you have constant visual access to.
• Make sure your activities and routines are in line with your goals and aims.
• Be proud of yourself, look at those achievements, those bridges you crossed, that fear you faced, celebrate yourself.
• Always speak positivity into your life as frequently as possible.

Then watch yourself, notice the changes, notice your progress.  Now sometimes thoughts might still linger, they might still be flashes but with time it would fade, your mistakes should be your strength and motivation not your weakness. When youfinally move on you will notice that there are more dimensions to life than dwelling on past action, make positive use of those thoughts, seize new opportunities, put your lessons into use, put a smile on another’s face. Be fulfilled, situations shouldn’t get the best out of you rather, handle then like a slice of meat. It might not be easy but its worth it, you have to try, take that step, wipe the tears and seize that opportunity.

• The journey of a thousand miles starts with a step.
